This theme does work. I just installed it in XP SP3. If you haven't gotten this theme to work, you won't get any theme (unsigned by ms) to work. For all of you saying you are getting the Windows basic theme, this includes you.
Follow Step 1 here: [link]

Then unzip the files from Royal Red to: C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

and then right click on my desktop and select royalred
it just changes my theme to a windows classic thing:S

I really think that you should keep the same theme going, except change the color of the Start button. This is a great theme and I'm looking forward to the finished product!

Hrm.. I don't like the shading on the Start bar, I think it'd look better as a solid glossy black, instead of the faded grey shade look..

But thats just my general opinion.. I however, will probably download this and take a look at it once you finish it.

Hmmm, Royal Deviant? It's an idea, I'll see what I can come up with.

It's included in the update I am currently finishing.

Also, don't worry about the shellstyle not matching yet, I am still working on that yet.
